What to include in a technical question

A risk result can only be reviewed together with its inputs. To get a faster answer, include:

  1. The project and scenario names, and the model type (pool fire, jet fire, fireball, flash fire, VCE, physical explosion…).

  2. The input values and units you used, and the result you expected.

  3. The steps that lead to the problem and, if an error message appears, its exact text.

  4. A screenshot or the exported calculation report, if you have one.

Before writing

The formulas, symbols and references of every model are published in the documentation, together with the cases compared against external references. Many questions about a result are answered there.
