## Features

From scenario modeling to regulatory reports, all in one integrated platform.

- **Fault Trees**: MOCUS minimal cut sets, Fussell-Vesely importance and critical path. The resulting frequency feeds the consequence scenario.
- **5 Scenario Types**: Pool Fire, Jet Fire, Fireball, Flash Fire, and VCE with documented formulas and references.
- **4 Hazard Categories**: Thermal radiation, overpressure, toxic dispersion, and domino effect analysis.
- **Individual and Social Risk**: FN curves, risk contours, and population impact assessment.
- **Interactive Maps**: Visualize risk zones on Mapbox with satellite, terrain, and custom overlays.
- **PDF Reports**: Professional branded reports ready to present to regulators.
- **30+ Parameters**: SLAB model with complete configuration for detailed analysis.

## Industries

- **Petrochemical**: Refineries, processing plants, and storage terminals.
- **Oil & Gas - Hydrocarbons**: Upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
- **Chemical**: Chemical production plants and specialties.
- **Pharmaceutical**: Laboratories and manufacturing plants.
- **Energy**: Power generation and energy storage plants.
- **Other High-Risk Industries**: Any industry handling fuels and hazardous substances in their processes.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is TekRisk?

TekRisk is a cloud-based industrial risk analysis platform that allows you to model accident scenarios (Pool Fire, Jet Fire, Fireball, Flash Fire, VCE), calculate consequences and risk, and generate reports for risk studies.

### Who is TekRisk for?

TekRisk is designed for environmental consultants, process safety engineers, project engineers, HSE managers, and any professional who needs to perform industrial risk analysis.

### What industries does TekRisk serve?

We serve high-risk industries such as petrochemical, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and any other that handles fuels or hazardous substances.

### What is the SLAB model?

SLAB (Simulating Large Atmospheric Bodies) is a dense gas dispersion model developed by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (Ermak, 1990). The EPA lists it among the alternative models in its Guideline on Air Quality Models, for use justified case by case.

### How accurate are the calculations?

Every model implements published equations (TNO Yellow and Green Book, CCPS, Eisenberg, HSE UK, LLNL SLAB), and its formulas are in the public documentation. The cases benchmarked against external references, including the differences we have not explained yet, are on the model validation page.

### Can I try before I buy?

Yes! The Free plan lets you create 1 project with 3 risk scenarios completely free, with no time limit. You can evaluate the platform and upgrade when you're ready.

### Is my data secure?

Data is hosted on AWS, encrypted at rest and in transit, and we do not share it with third parties. The details are in the privacy notice.
